You Must Know That Jesus Christ Is The Only Savior

Photobucket

The job of a Savior is to save, and this, Christ can do. He died on the cross to bear your sins, your shame, your guilt

lt ‘s your penalty. He is your substitute. What you so justly deserve, because of your lost, sinful condition, He gladly bore for you. This is WHY He came into the world, “to save sinners,” I Tim. 1:15. The “work” has been accomplished on Calvary’s cross.

Notice what His death or blood does for us:

· Washes us from our sins — Rev. 1:5.
· Redeems us — I Pet. 1:18-19.
· Justifies us — Rom. 5:9.
· Forgives us — Eph. 1:7.
· Reconciles us back to God — Col. 1:20.
· Peace for us with God — Col. 1:20.
· Propitiates (satisfies) God — Rom. 3:25.

There is no hope outside of Christ and His Death for:

· He is the only way back to God — John 14:6.
· He is the only DOOR to enter to be saved — John 10:9.
· His is the only NAME to obtain deliverance from hell — Acts 4:12.

Friend, cast away all other so-called Saviors. God’s Word only has one, the Lord Jesus Christ. Admit this in your heart to be true. You must in order to be saved.

You Must Know That To Die As A Lost Person Is To Spend Eternity In The Lake Of Fire

Both the saved and the lost die physically, but the lost person will suffer the “second death” in the Lake of Fire, Rev.20:14. As the saved will spend eternity in bliss with God, so the lost will spend eternity in torment and away from God. Notice the position of a lost person:

· The wrath of God is ON HIM NOW — John 3:16.
· He is CONDEMNED ALREADY — John 3:18b.
· Called “children of wrath” — Eph. 2:3.
· The Wrath of God will be literally upon the lost at the Great White Throne Judgment — Rev. 20:15.
· This Wrath is for eternity, forever — Rev. 14:11.

Man does not like to think of any future punishment because of his sins but it is true just the same, just as true as God Himself. Will you accept the fact that God is just in sending the lost to eternal damnation? Please agree with God in this because THIS is what you need to be saved from.

You Must Know That Your Own Works Cannot Save You

Salvation is the gift of God. If man could save himself by works why then did Christ have to suffer and die for him? Christ performed all the “work” needed for our salvation, we cannot perform any of our own to attain salvation. Notice why man is completely helpless to attain salvation by his own merits:

· No “righteousness” of our own — Rom. 3:10-12; Isa. 64:6.
· No “strength” of our own — Rom. 5:6; Eph. 2:1.
· No “good” of our own — Rom. 3:12; Psa. 14:1-3; Jer. 13:23.
· No “boasting” from us in salvation — Eph. 2:9; Rom. 3:27a.
· No “works” from us in salvation — Eph. 2:9; Titus 3:5; Rom. 4:5.
· Salvation is a “gift” — Eph. 2:8-9.
· Righteousness is a “gift” — Rom. 5:17.
· Eternal Life is a “gift” — Rom. 6:23b.

  1. I not to mention my buddies were viewing the great pointers on the website and at once developed an awful feeling I never expressed respect to the site owner for those tips. Thanks for truly being simply accommodating and then for opting for varieties of nice guides millions of individuals are really wanting to understand about. My personal honest apologies for not saying thanks to you sooner.

  5. “You have actually created some exceptional points here. I specifically appreciate the way you’ve been able to stick so much thought into a relatively short post (comparitively) which creates it an thoughtful publish on your subject. In my opinion, you’ve presented the topic in a quite thorough yet concise manner, that is genuinely useful when somebody wants to get the facts without spending too a lot time searching the web and sifting out the noise to discover the answers to their questions. I usually get so frustrated with so abundant in the final results inside the major SE’s due to the fact they normally seem to mostly be filled with filler content that often isn’t extremely sensible. If you don’t mind I’m going to add this post and your blog to my delicious favorites so I can share it with my family. I appear forward to approaching back to check out your future posts as well.”

  6. Fantastic goods from you, man. Jesus Is My Joy Ministries/Devotions I have understand your stuff previous to and you’re just too great. 7. Fantastic read.  Man, I so wish I could have articles like this half as good on my site. Your post is well-done. Anyways, just wanted to comment and let you know.  Thanks

  8. I found this as a link from another site. It was a talk on purgatory or something and there was talk about when you die, you know and see nothing, like as you just are dead or asleep until the alarm goes off, it is time to be judged.
What then about the good thief? He was told he would be in paradise not dead waiting for resurrection?

  9. The thief on the cross beside Jesus repented before he said that to Him..that thief went right to heaven, Jesus told him he would..it was something Jesus did to prove who He Was..

  10. Dear Brother/Sister,

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.

I am Somie, from Pakistan. Urdu and Punjabi are the biggest languages of this country. I visited your website (https://jesusmyjoy.wordpress.com/) and impressed by your work. I have one suggestion regarding booklets, sermon, tracks, and Bible studies and recording, it would be good, if these will be available in our native languages in Urdu and Punjabi. Reaching out to the people in their own languages is very helpful, affective and fruitful. If your ministry is interested and keen to reach the unreached and untold in Pakistan with the materials in native languages, I can arrange to translate for messages, bible studies, biblical tracks, books and also Urdu page on your ministry website. Our all services will be provided with reasonable rates and whatever we get we use it to spread the word of God.

Would please to hear from you,

    With prayers,
    Somie

  11. My second reply is gone? After reading that part again, I don’t recall him asking for forgiveness. I thought Jesus did that because he would do this for everyone. So who then would be the ones just waiting for judgment unaware, is it the ones that are not save? Do you think God gives you signs about loved ones you cared about, like where they went?

    • I hope this helps..i don’t think God gives us signs about our loved one’s ..i think if we believe in Him and our lives change when we repent of our sins and we read our bibles daily to know Him more..we will see him in heaven..and live there with him..i think our lives change after we open up to God..we desire things of Him..once we were not in Him when we repent and change we are in Him..the Bible feeds us, show us how to live, and shows us also how to be saved..loved one’s you know you should be able to tell if they have gone to heaven..the way they lived, the way they spoke..deeds won’t get us to heaven..its trusting Christ with our lives, thats what gets us there..i hope you will write if you have more questions.below you will read some stuff that may help you..keep in touch..

The second bandit has not lost his faith, for he asks, “Don’t you fear God?” To stand by and participate in such an unrighteous act as to execute an innocent man is an impious, sinful act, and the second brigand refuses to desert his sense of right and wrong.

Remember Me in Your Kingdom (23:42)

“Then he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.’ ” (23:42)

By any measure, this statement is astounding! Jesus’ disciples have fled or linger disillusioned at the margins of the crowd. Their hopelessness is echoed by the men on the road to Emmaus, “… they crucified him; but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel” (24:20-21).

But here on the cross to one side, a fellow condemned man, life ebbing out of him, looks across and sees not another dying man, but the Messiah himself. Somehow, he understands that Jesus is not an impostor, and that he will still receive the Kingdom that belongs to the Messiah.

      Luke 23:39-43

      New International Version (NIV)

39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”

40 But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.[a]”

43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

    • If you want read the matthew its a good book to start..at judgement day we are all judged..the Christians are judged by what they did and said on earth..and if they trusted Jesus..the unsaved will be judged by not believing, not trusting God..

  12. Thank you for the nice reply, that is much more understandable. I’ve read the old KJV a few times and now started the NIV and each time I read, I find something I had missed before.
I guess that is why John 3:16 is such a comforting verse.

If you don’t mind, what do you think about organ donation, I have read that Jesus showed Thomas his wounds so he would believe, but also that we get new bodys, I really am not sure about that, I currently have myself as an organ donor, but not sure now if I should change that.

With each time I read, I do get more answers, but it seems for each answer I then have even more questions, I was thinking about reading the book of enoch, have you read it?

  14. Wow! What a good piece of writing. I can tell that you had your heart in this… May the Lord Bless you … Bro Pat.

  15. Hi Betty: Here is the message that I got back from Jennie… Hi Brother Pat,
I’ve found your friends site and while I’m connected with her on twitter, I can’t reach her through her blog as I’m not a member, nor am I on facebook to be able to log in. Would you please ask her to try using the contact form off my site to email me if she wishes? I’d love to connect 🙂 I’m not sure why she couldn’t comment on my blog though either. Thanks for being the “in-between” for us and blessings to you as well! …. let me know how this turns out OK?.. Bro Pat.

  16. Hey There. I found your blog using msn. This is an extremely well written article. I will make sure to bookmark it and return to read more of Jesus Is My Joy Ministries/Devotions | My site has inspiration for you and TRUTH. . Thanks for the post. I will certainly comeback.

  17. Hi! I found your site through Shannon Moreno’s blog. Excellent post! Thank you for clearly writing out why Jesus Christ is our only Savior and backing it up with fantastic verses. May you continue to remind others of the Good News!

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’ ” (John 14:6).

  18. You left a comment on my blog, and I wanted to answer you here. I did not speak to the person I wrote about, but I thought about him all that day. The next day I went to the apartment and asked the person there (not the one I had seen the previous day) if they could use some food. He said yes, so I pulled some out of our freezer (fish, cornbread mix), & canned goods, and Kleenex and took to them along with a “My Daily Bread” booklet. I wished them a happy Easter.

  19. Greetings, my friend. Got your sweet concern/comments and tried to respond but fear you may not have received my message. Thanks for your care and for your prayers. I am recovering from another eye surgery very slowly and thus having to reduce my reading and such just now and also recovering from a foot injury, but am doing my best to not panic at the challenges for i know Jesus loves me and has a plan and His way is perfect. I hope you get this message. Left one on my blog as well. Sorry for the confusion. My sight has been pretty bad and so maybe i hit the wrong button and my replies went astray. Hugs and peace, Martha

  20. He is the only way, and also the only door not closed…yet! Here is something to lift you my dear sister!

    “The Open Door”

The Open door now calls to your heart
yet are your ears receptive enough to hear?
Who is blessed among you to look past self?
who has gazed within without shedding tears?

Who has the vision to recognize the key
the only one that will open up the door
Who is obedient to my soft spoken voice
and when they hear it now are sure

For I await you with each passing day
but I find only a few do search for Me
And even as the Spirit speaks in truth to their hearts
many disregard my Living Words and Pleas

For before you lies the one true way
    to pass through heavens gates
But you have to open up your minds and hearts
to receive the Spirits sweet gift of Faith…

So you can awaken and believe in Me.

  21. Hi jesusmyjoy thank you for your message, as we know it is not God’s will anyone perishes which means to be separated from Him eternally, it’s their choice, God’s wrath is against all evil this is why we must put our evil flesh nature to death by The Spirit and be Born Again of God’s seed or Nature being perfected in Love and having the mind of Christ.1Corinthians 2: 9-16, I shared with you how to do this on my Blog, it is as the Scriptures tell us.

1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

Colossians 3:4-6 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.

Salvation is a free gift and our lives will show we have it, what Satan likes to remind us of is our weaknesses and shortcomings and other peoples too, it’s a tool he uses so we don’t walk in God’s Victory or have His Peace, he also majors on man’s rules and regulations to keep us under his control and to make us feel guilty if we don’t follow them, this is not referring to God’s Commandments but man’s own rules, they lead to bondage.

We can’t work for our Salvation, we accept it by heart felt repentance which means turning from evil and doing good or God’s works, we must not be deceived by those who claim we can continue to sin because we are forgiven and we reject the instruction of those who try to limit the Holy Spirit from sharing the Truth that is in our heart, we write as we feel lead in the role God has given to us as woman, which is as a Helpmate, not as fleshy man tells us or woman who are in disobedience. We are the Lord’s vessels not man’s, we have God’s authority in Christ Jesus, our words will be confirmed in Scripture, we have only one Teacher Jesus Christ who will lead us into all Truth. we do not listen to those who say one thing but do another, Love shows itself in our words and actions but it is not Saccharine sweet, it rejects evil and rebukes and warns.

Take Care jesusmyjoy and listen to Jesus Truth, not man’s deception.

    Christian Love Anne.

  34. What you do so well is to bring in so many of the best verses that apply to what you’re saying. Great job! That you talk about Hell as real is also great, and is very loving! People are afraid to tell the truth about this. It is scary to tell the truth, but we must tell them, not only Who saved them – Jesus Christ – but what He saved them from – sin, death, and Hell. God bless you!
I noticed your icon on a “Like” at Pats Devotions – that is how I got here.
    In God’s love,
    Maria

  35. Hi Betty, so very good to be in the arms of our Heavenly Father to know His, Love, Joy, Peace and Rest in Christ Jesus.

Salvation is a free gift and when we come to heart Repentance and are perfected in God’s Love we walk as Jesus did. We can’t earn our Salvation but we will show we have it, as the Scriptures confirm…. of course we can’t do this in the flesh, it must be put to death, we can only be victorios by the empowering of The Holy Spirit and then we are equiped, empowered and motivated, to do the works God has planed in advance for us to do .

1 John 4:17-19 Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in Love; but perfect Love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in Love. We Love Him, because He first Loved us.

    Christian Love – Anne.

  36. Good news Betty, I’m pleased all went well, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

As for me, apart from loosing my Computer glasses and having very sore eyes, all is very good but I have made so many spelling mistakes, I also did not have a spell check working, I wish WordPress had one on each Blog for our comments but not just to tell us we are wrong but with the correction too, now your going to laugh but it was months before I realised we had one for Posting on our Blogs, Hmmmm I’m really not wanting to look back at my old Posts! 🙄

    Christian Love – Anne.

  37. Thank you for your post.
    Yeshua is the only way.
In the past I have read on astrology, kabbalah among others. However the way is Yeshua as he has said. Creator is our salvation and His word is holy.

    Elohim bless you.

  38. You certainly deserve the award for best blog ever…. Thank you so much for your faithfulness.
Thank you so much for nominating SIH ministries for best blog ever award as well. I truly beleive the Lord is the only One that deserves the award for SIH…. as I am sure you know… it is only through His gracious intervention that SIH continues to exist and it is only due to His Word that SIH can proclaim the truths of God. Lord bless you.

  39. I found your blog through Wendy’s site. I noticed that you wrote you needed prayer for your headaches. I wanted to let you know I took a moment to pray for you just now. …I enjoyed reading your latest post. Thank you for reminding us to fix our eyes and heart on our perfect Savior. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
