I have been talking about contentment, “Content” is defined satisfied with what one is or has. This is a feeling that is propagated by an attitude. Contentment doesn’t mean you are happy, it is a word that holds you together, it is great gain.

1 Timothy 6:6-8 “But Godliness with contentment is great gain.. We brought nothing into the  world and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, we are content. The world is out for gain, cars, houses, fame, ect. Why strive so hard for material things that mean nothing in the end. Luke 12:15-“And he said to them, take care and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions. “Are you content today?

Contentment!

Let’s see how we can be content in our marriage.

You can find contentment in your marriage, Don’t ever feel you are fighting for your marriage all by yourself. God will always be fighting right beside you to help and to make your marriage content.

Contentment is key to keeping your love alive. Living in peace with everyone and everything seems to line up with contentment. We must live our marriages in peace.

1 Corinthians 7:15; But if the unbeliever leaves, let him go. The believing brother or sister is not bound insuch cases. God has called you to live in peace.

Romans 14:19
So then, let us pursue what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

So we must seek contentment, and be in peace with all things.

Women of Faith Icon

In the world today many people don’t seem to be content in their living, they seem to look for the things of the world to keep them satisfied. So, today we will talk about being content in all circumstances.

I have a few verse’s for you to ponder and pray over so our Lord can help us to be content. The Apostle Paul was content in all things, rather being hungry or full.

In 1 Timothy 6:6 it say’s

But godliness with contentment is great gain.
How awesome is that? Our God is a huge God He can keep us content in all we do, let’s just trust Him.
Even in Joy it say’s
If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment.
I am into my bible so often I stand in awe of God daily, and we must depend on Him and be content because He won’t lead us astray.
I do  a lot if bible journaling and I will be posting my work, and I love to Journal.
Below are some more verse’s we can pray about and ask God to keep us content.
Contentment is my word for the year, join me in this journey

Song of Songs 8:10

I am a wall,
and my breasts are like towers.
Thus I have become in his eyes
like one bringing contentment.
